In October there were teachers from Korpuskóli (Iceland) and Jelgava 3.Pamatskola (Latvia) guests in Estonia in Sõmeru Põhikool.
They observed almost twenty lessons to get picture, how estonian teachers work. Guests had planned one lesson for project meeting and they worked with the pupils, who do no know their language. It was real challenge! But knowledges from english lessons helped kids and they succeeded with islandic song and handicraft.  Latvian teachers Ildze and Sarmite, who taught english lessons, glorified students´ language skills and cooperativeness.

Project meeting offered several workshops with lectures and workshops.
Hans Põldoja from Tallinn Univercity taught us in workshop „Using IT in lessons", how to use „LeMill“ for creation and sharing learning materials in Internet. We tried practically, how to use such webtools as SlideShare, TeacherTube and GoogleMap together with LeMill.

Workshop "Outdoor learning" by Eha Jakobson Unipiha Algkool offered theoretical basis for outdoor learning lessons and practical exercises in schoolyard. Extremely interesting was visit to the bison farm, where owner told us about happy domestic animals and birds.

We had fun in the history lessons about medieval times in Rakvere stronghold.  Teachers pretended tracehunters in art lesson, what took place in Estonian Art Museum KUMU. Best practice of handicraft teaching we saw in Vaeküla school.

Teachers got lot of good innovative ideas and skills.
